I have decided that we are all screwed. Apparently man IS destined to repeat his mistakes over and over and over before he can get his collective heads out of his asses.
There are those that rant and rave all day long about how evil and backwards the Muslims are, and yet they don't seem to even be capable of seeing that they are the EXACT SAME. So what if there are Muslims in this world that think everyone should be Muslim? Apparently there are people on this board who think all Muslims should put down like pound puppies. Is there a difference between genocide of one group or another? I think not.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think true terrorist groups deserve better than they give, but to condemn an entire group based solely on religious affiliation is just fuckin'Nazi as hell. May as well start wearing brown shirts and jackboots.
Ya know if we are just going to start whackin' groups of people that don't really like us, we need to start at home. Everybody is all worried about a Muslim takeover, and the majority think Muslim=Towelhead, so their fear isn't so much religious as it is racial. However, they aren't running around condemning Hispanics! Yet it is pretty common knowledge that it is expected that Hispanics will outnumber all other races in this country. Probably within our children's lifetime. We better figure out some reason to send troops into Tijuana, other than donkey shows.
It's not even all about war either is it? Let's look at some of our more recent history of blaming and ostracizing.

Very well said. If we start grouping a whole group of people based on actions of the few, you are being very much like someone who was in Germany and died in a hole in the ground.
